Inpatient Urology Coverage Needed

We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Indiana. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive urologic care at a Level I trauma center, with responsibilities spanning inpatient rounding, surgical care, and 24/7 call coverage. The schedule includes weekday clinical hours, overnight call, and weekend inpatient rounding.
Overview
- Inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and call coverage
- Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Weeknight call, 5 PM to 8 AM
- Saturday and Sunday weekend coverage, 8 AM to 12 PM inpatient rounding with unrestricted call
- Approximately 15–20 patients/day
- Adult and geriatric
- EMR: Athena and Sunrise
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rounding and surgical care
- Provide 24/7 on-call support
- Supervise advanced practice providers
- Respond to on-call phone calls within 15 minutes
- Return to the hospital within 45 minutes when required
- Complete documentation in real time, by the end of the shift, or post-shift
Requirements
- MD with board certification in Urology
- Active Indiana medical license required
