An established and largest urology group in North Mississippi is excited to welcome an additional urologist to its growing team! This long-standing practice in Tupelo has built a strong regional reputation for delivering advanced urologic care in a collaborative private practice environment. The group is currently comprised of five urologists and ten APPs.
This opportunity offers the ability to practice comprehensive general urology with access to modern technology, strong surgical volume, and robust APP support. Physicians benefit from a balanced clinical schedule with dedicated clinic and OR time, as well as the flexibility to pursue subspecialty interests. With a redesigned two-year partnership pathway and ownership opportunities in the practice’s ambulatory surgery center and ancillary services, this role provides an attractive long-term career opportunity within a stable and physician-led private practice.
Hospital Highlights:
• 640-bed regional referral hospital and largest non-metropolitan hospital in the United States
• Level II Trauma Center serving more than 730,000 people across North Mississippi and surrounding states
• 25,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art clinic with 36 exam rooms and advanced in-office diagnostics
• In-house laboratory, PCR lab, CT scanner, X-ray, in-house dispensary for oral on oncolytics, and procedure clinic
• Recognized nationally for quality and patient care
• Technology available includes: da Vinci robotic platforms, Moses laser technology for stone surgery, and two Lithotripsy trucks owned by the practice
Practice Highlights:
• General urology position with opportunity to subspecialize especially in Oncology and FPMRS/URPS
• Strong APP infrastructure with approximately 10 Advanced Practice Providers assisting with clinic, consults, and call coverage
• Call rotation 1:5 with APPs assisting with first call responsibilities
• Balanced schedule with approximately: 2-day clinic / 2-day OR, and remaining time for administrative responsibilities or call
• Practice owns and operates a modern ambulatory surgery center opened in 2023
• Robotics experience preferred, not required
• Mentorship available for new grads
• Flexible compensation structure with employed model or partnership track
• Partnership eligibility after approximately 2 years
• Competitive compensation package with salary guarantee, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME, and full benefits
