We are seeking a Neurological Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This Level II Trauma Center provides comprehensive stroke and general neurosurgical services, with an anticipated need of approximately 7 24-hour call shifts per month.
Overview
- 24-hour call, 7a–7a, Monday–Sunday
- 7 shifts/month
- 100% adult
- EMR: Epic
- APP Support: APP takes first call except ICU and ED
- Typical Daily Volume: 15–20 inpatients, 4 admissions, 6 consults, 1 case
- Typical Cases: General neurosurgery, acute care spine/trauma spine, trauma craniotomy, urgent tumors, stroke-related bleeds
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Pennsylvania license required
- DEA and CSR required
- ACLS certification required
- Candidates needing to obtain a Pennsylvania license may be considered or IMLC in-hand
