We are seeking a Neurological Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This Level II Trauma Center provides comprehensive stroke and general neurosurgical services, with an anticipated need of approximately 7 24-hour call shifts per month.
Overview
  • 24-hour call, 7a–7a, Monday–Sunday
  • 7 shifts/month
  • 100% adult
  • EMR: Epic
  • APP Support: APP takes first call except ICU and ED
  • Typical Daily Volume: 15–20 inpatients, 4 admissions, 6 consults, 1 case
  • Typical Cases: General neurosurgery, acute care spine/trauma spine, trauma craniotomy, urgent tumors, stroke-related bleeds
Requirements
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Pennsylvania license required
  • DEA and CSR required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Candidates needing to obtain a Pennsylvania license may be considered or IMLC in-hand
