We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide part-time weekend locum coverage in Illinois. This role supports a growing team and involves call-based coverage focused on emergent cardiothoracic cases.
Overview:

- 1-2 weekends of coverage needed each month (Possible future coverage needs of 10-14 day stretch)
- Providers take call and any emergent cases that present, round on any patients we have, all call, no clinic, cover emergent cases only.
- Avg 3 calls per weekend unless change in condition of a pt.
- Daily AM rounding with CVU support
- Weekends Friday 10am to Monday 5am
- Manage and perform emergent cardiothoracic procedures, including CABG
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Active Illinois medical license
- DEA and CSR required
