We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Pennsylvania. This role is primarily weekday procedural coverage with no call, supporting inpatient and outpatient IR services.
Position Overview

- IR procedures all day with potential diagnostic reading between cases
- Monday–Friday only, 7:30/8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
- Estimated 10 shifts per month
- No weekends or call coverage
- Full and temporary privileges available
- EMR: Epic
- RRA/RPA support staff on site
Responsibilities
- Support coverage across two sites, with assignments scheduled in advance
- Perform interventional radiology procedures in vascular and non-vascular labs
- Provide inpatient and outpatient IR services (ultrasound and CT-guided)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC in-hand
- ACLS required
Ultrasound-Guided Procedures:
Liver biopsy, lymph node biopsy, neck biopsy, paracentesis, prostate biopsy, renal biopsy, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsy

CT-Guided Procedures:
Bone biopsy, drainage procedures, lung biopsy, retroperitoneal biopsy

Additional Required Procedures:
Bone marrow biopsy, gastrojejunostomy tube exchanges, gallbladder drain, IVC filter, lumbar puncture, nasogastric tube, nephrostomy tubes and exchanges, PICC, tunneled dialysis catheter, tunneled PleurX (chest and abdominal)
