We are seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to provide short-term locum coverage. This role includes both on-site and remote reading options. The selected provider will support our client in Michigan with coverage extending across multiple facilities.
We are seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to provide short-term locum coverage. This role includes both on-site and remote reading options. The selected provider will support our client in Michigan with coverage extending across multiple facilities.
Assignment Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Setting: Outpatient, no call responsibilities
- Procedures & Cases:
- Screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Breast ultrasound (interpretation and performance)
- Stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies
- Clinical Support: Dedicated support staff on-site
- EMR/Dictation: EPIC and Dragon
Remote Reading Option:
- Remote coverage available for mammograms and ultrasounds
- On-site presence required for biopsies in Midland
- IT team will provide necessary equipment for short-term remote readers (approx. 2 weeks)
Case Volumes (approx. two-week period):
- Mammograms: 350–400 (with additional 500–600 screening mammograms available if needed)
- Ultrasounds: 100–130
- Biopsies (Midland only): 12–20
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiology
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Recent case logs (last 3 months)
- Eligible for MI license (IMLC accepted)
- Ability to interpret and perform outlined breast imaging procedures
