Part-Time Outpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a psychiatrist to provide part-time outpatient coverage at a community health center located in California.
Assignment Overview
- Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing (approx. 30 days)
- Estimated Assignment Length: 6 months (minimum 3-month commitment required)
- Schedule: 1 day per week to start; additional days may be added if child/adolescent services are introduced
- Hours: 8-hour day (approx. 10 patients/day)
- Call: No call
- Patient Type: Initially adults; children may be added later
- Patient Volume: ~10 patients/day
- Visit Duration: 90 minutes (new patients), 60 minutes (follow-ups)
- Support Staff: Care coordinator on site
- EMR: OCHIN Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active California Medical License
- Active DEA
- BLS Certification
- Previous outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
