We are seeking a Plastic Surgeon to support a full-time locum need in Iowa. This role begins as call-only with the potential to expand into clinic and OR coverage.
Assignment Overview
- Schedule: Full-time
- Patient Contact Hours: 36 hours/week
- Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday with call rotation, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- OR/Procedure Days: 2–4 per week
- On Call: Currently rotation soft tissue call in addition to clinic call/EMTALA
- Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes
- Daily Clinic Volume: 16+ patients per full day
- Patients: Surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages
- EMR: Epic
- Responsibilities: Trauma call, ER consults, in-office consults and procedures, reconstructive collaboration w/breast surgeons
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active IA License or Active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
- Must be experienced
- Clean malpractice and background
- Availability for 7 on/7 off OR 2 on/2 off ASAP
