Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to provide full-time coverage. This role includes day coverage and occasional night call. The physician will provide inpatient rehabilitation care for patients with brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, myopathies, and cardiac patients.

The physician will provide inpatient rehabilitation care for patients with brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, myopathies, and cardiac patients.
Responsibilities:
- Rounding on inpatient rehab patients (up to 20 per day)
- Completing inpatient consults (4-5 per day)
- Admissions (2-3 per day)
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Provide telephone and beeper call coverage from 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM, including weekend rounding
- Work in tandem with unit coverage for call duties
- Estimated Shifts/Month: 14
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- State License: Active Pennsylvania license highly preferred or IMLC in hand
- Certifications: BLS, DEA required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of PM&R experience
