We are seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist to provide immediate locum tenens coverage in Illinois. This role offers a mix of inpatient and optional outpatient responsibilities with flexible scheduling.
Position Overview:
- Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
- 30-bed NICU, 4-bed PICU
- Outpatient clinic optional, 1–2 days per week
- Schedule:
- 1–2 weeks per month of call coverage (7–14 days/month)
- Flexible hours and scheduling
- Patient Volume:
- Outpatient: ~14 patients per day
- Inpatient: Less than 1 patient per day on average
EMR Systems:
- Inpatient: Cerner
- Outpatient: Athena
- Call Communication: Perfect Serve
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain
