Medical Oncologist Opportunity - No Call

We have a client in Illinois that is launching a new Medical Oncology practice and seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist to join their team on a locum tenens basis.
Overview:
- Schedule: 3 days per week, Monday–Friday
- Shift Hours: 7:30 AM start, 8–10 hour shifts
- Estimated Shifts: ~12 per month
- No call or weekend coverage required
- Support: On-site APP for consults, follow-ups, and patient management; PRN Medical Oncologist available one week per month
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities include:
- Direct patient care including consults, admissions, and follow-ups
- Hospital rounding as needed
- Coordination with APPs for patient management and orders
- Multidisciplinary care planning with the cancer care team
- Coverage when PRN Oncologist is not on-site
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
- Active Illinois medical license (CSR required)
- DEA and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
