Position Details
We are seeking an OBGYN Hospitalist to provide inpatient coverage supporting labor & delivery and GYN services in Tennessee. This is a full-time locum assignment with on-site call coverage and an additional provider on-site during shifts.
Coverage Overview:
- Start ASAP, 6–12 months assignment with option to extend
- Mondays 7P-7A (12 hr), Wednesdays 7A-7A (24 hour), and Friday 7A-Monday 7A (72 hour)
- 300+ bed acute care hospital
- 25 patients on unit on average
- 8-20 deliveries per day
- Labor and delivery coverage, OB triage, emergency GYN cases, surgical procedures and GYN call coverage
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- DEA and ACLS required
- Clean background required
- Must have recent GYN surgical experience (minimum of 10 intra-abdominal cases in the last 12 months, including hysterectomies)
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Active TN license or eligible for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
