Details:
- Hospital services include a Level II NICU, full-time anesthesia, and a designated OB emergency department
- The hospital has one of the lowest c-section rates in Chicago and offers a full range of Maternal Fetal Medicine, educational, and support services.
Position Highlights:
- Work 6 to 8 shifts per month
- No call when not on shift
- Provides clinical supervision for the Certified Nurse Midwives and collaborates with Outpatient Clinic OB/GYN Providers and Laborists
- Manage unassigned patient admissions/deliveries and emergency department OB/GYN consultations
- Support Midwife laborists, performing c-sections and managing high-risk patients
- Perform GYN surgery, including laparoscopy
- Serve as first backup for surgical procedures
Salary/Benefits:
- $280,000- to $300,000 with hourly incentive pay for extra shifts
- Employed position with generous benefits
- The position qualifies for Illinois State Loan Forgiveness
Job Requirements:
- Board-certified OB/GYN, experience preferred
- ACLS, CPR, NRP Certifications
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring Interpretation Skills
