Job Description:

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Neurologist at Nellis AFB in Nevada.

Details:

Full-time position
Monday - Friday 0730 - 1630
On-call required
Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries
Outpatient environment with consultation for inpatient services and stroke coverage when on-call

Requirements:

Successful complete of ACGME approved Neurology Medical Residency
Minimum of 2 years of neurologic clinical experience required
BLS and ACLS required
Board certification in adult Neurology
Unrestricted Medical License in Nevada

Responsibilities:

Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
Capable of performing lumbar punctures, interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
Capable of providing chemo denervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
