Neurologist Needed for Full-Time Locum Coverage

We are seeking a Neurologist for a full-time locum assignment in Illinois. This role covers inpatient and outpatient neurology with a balanced schedule that includes clinic, rounding, and call coverage.

- 7-day blocks preferred (Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- Clinic 4 hours (8a-12p)
- 7-10 patients per day 40 min NP/20 min established
- Afternoon rounding in hospital as consulted
- Volume varies: 3-4 consults per day
- Stoke certified center; utilize Teleneurology for all strokes
- If patient is admitted through hospitalist program Neurology consult will be placed.
- Overnight call is 1-2 per night but typically do not need to present in person
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Active Illinois medical license required
- Active DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Preferred: Ability to perform EMGs, read EEGs, and continuous EEGs
