The Department of Neurology is seeking a Neurocritical Care Physician to join the outpatient clinic and affiliated teaching hospitals and help grow the service line

Position Highlights:

Nationally-recognized and award-winning University Medical Center
12-15 beds in the Neurocritical Care unit
1 week on/2 weeks off rotation (17.3 weeks per year)
Inpatient/Outpatient mix (majority inpatient)
Inpatient services: To include critically ill neurological patients and stroke consults
Avg. 10 inpatients + 5 new consults daily
Phone consults only in the evening
No outpatient clinic when on hospital consults
Outpatient services: Approximately 2 days/week in the clinic

Supervising resident outpatient clinics and teaching programs
Teach and mentor residents and medical students, to include seminars or lectures
Participate in academic research and scholarly activities
