Job Description
  • In this role, the physician is responsible for providing inpatient Nephrology consults and follow-up, outpatient Nephrology consults and follow-up, and evaluation of patients with acute, chronic, and end-stage kidney disease; and fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base disorders
  • Develops treatment plans, including but not limited to dialysis (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy)
  • Rounds on hospitalized patients, follows up with patients in the clinics, transcribes prescription medications, enters requests for consultative services, provides diet instructions, and makes other physician-driven decisions
  • Monday through Friday. Traditionalist with paid time off.
