We are seeking an Internal Medicine (IM) physician to join our inpatient care team in North Carolina for weekend coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to provide impactful care while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Duration: 3-6 months with the option to extend
- Setting: Inpatient
- Schedule: Sat and Sunday, 8a-5p
- Patient Load: 10-15 patients per day (rounding)
- Paper charting
- Support staff includes Psychiatrists, Social Workers, RNs, and Primary Care providers
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality inpatient care for adults
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage patient care plans
- Ensure thorough documentation and communication
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Active medical license in the state of North Carolina (or eligible to obtain)
- Previous inpatient experience preferred
