We are seeking a locum Hospitalist with expertise in Oncology to provide inpatient coverage for their oncology and hematology patients. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with additional weekend coverage.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM
- Weekends: Every other weekend coverage required
- Call: Low likelihood of call shifts
- Practice Setting: Inpatient rounding, admitting, and consulting on oncology/hematology patients
- Supervision: No APP coverage; outpatient Oncologists available for support/questions
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Inpatient oncology and hematology care
- Rounding, admitting, consulting
- Medication administration
- Coordination of patient care within the oncology unit
Requirements
- Board Certification: Medical Oncology OR Medical Oncology/Hematology
- Active Idaho medical license
- CSR, DEA, BLS
- COVID vaccination
- Local candidates – Highly Preferred
