Locum Gastroenterologist Needed in Coastal Carolina

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage in South Carolina. This assignment offers a supportive staff, a mix of procedures, inpatient consults, and clinic care.
Responsibilities
- One 7-day stretch per month (Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- Provide 24-hour hospital call coverage
- Perform scheduled procedures in the Endoscopy Lab (½ day blocks)
- Respond to inpatient consults
- Cover 2–3 half days of outpatient clinic
- Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, flexible Sigmoidoscopy
- EMR: Epic
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active South Carolina Medical License
- Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required before onboarding
- Must maintain a DEA registered in South Carolina for ongoing privileges
