About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Medicine Physician to join our team on a part-time basis. This position provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions while promoting wellness and continuity of care.
As a Family Medicine Physician, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support patient-centered care, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Expertise
- Provide outpatient primary care services to patients across the lifespan.
- Conduct physical exams, preventive screenings, and routine health assessments.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
Safety & Quality
- Adhere to evidence-based guidelines and clinical protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and administrative teams.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to support coordinated care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to practice development.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
- Current and unrestricted state medical license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
