Job Description:
- Looking for a rewarding primary care locums role with no call, no weekends, and the chance to live minutes from one of the most scenic places in California? Join a small, supportive team at a rural clinic outside Merced, CA.
Position Highlights:
- Outpatient-only Family Medicine
- Rural health clinic on a Critical Access Hospital campus
- No call, weekends, or holiday shifts
- 20 patients per day on average
- No Hospital coverage
- EMR: eClinicalWorks
- Full onboarding and EHR training support provided
Compensation & Perks:
- Highly competitive hourly rate (DOE)
- Short-term housing available (monthly rentals or hotels)
- Mileage or travel assistance considered
- Malpractice insurance provided
Qualifications:
- Active California medical license required
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience preferred
- Must be comfortable seeing all ages and working independently
- Available to start within the next 30–60 days
