Overview:

We are seeking an Endocrinologist to join our dedicated outpatient team in Maryland. This full-time locum assignment provides the opportunity to deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient population with endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Position Details:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Approximately 20 shifts per month
Average 14-17 patients per day
No call or inpatient rounding
EMR: Epic

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat endocrine disorders, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid conditions, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and goiter
Manage patients with thyroid disorders and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
Complete prescription refills and inbox messaging for patients
Perform thyroid fine needle aspirations (FNA) independently
Collaborate with clinical staff to provide the highest level of care

Requirements:

Board Certified
Active Maryland license (willing to accept IMLC candidates)
DEA, CSR, ACLS and BLS
Minimum 3 years of experience
