Emergency Medicine Opportunities — Multiple Locations Across Indiana

Specialty: Emergency Medicine / Emergency Department Physician

Locations: Multiple hospital and community ER settings throughout Indiana (including rural & low-volume facilities).

We have several Emergency Medicine physician positions open across diverse settings — busy suburban hospitals, community hospitals, and lower-volume rural ERs. You choose what works best for your lifestyle and career goals. Opportunities include:
  • Full-time employed roles, with 24-hour physician coverage and varying levels of mid-level or APP support
  • Locum tenens / flexible shifts — ideal for those seeking variety or supplemental income
  • Night-shift / nocturnist-heavy coverage — some sites with minimal mid-level or APP coverage
  • Community hospital, community ED, and urgent-care/ER-hybrid settings

Annual ED volumes range from ~13,000 to ~20,000+ visits, with typical shift lengths of 12 or 24 hours, depending on site.

Skills

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Board-certified/board-eligible in EM (ABEM / AOBEM / BEEM) — or Family Medicine / Internal Medicine with prior EM experience (in select cases)
  • Certifications such as ACLS, with ATLS, PALS / NRP / NALS required for FM/IM physicians applying to EM roles
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments — from higher-volume hospitals to rural, low-volume EDs
  • Ability to manage a broad spectrum of emergency presentations: acute medical, trauma, urgent care, and community hospital admissions
  • Strong communication, multitasking, critical-thinking and team-collaboration skills — especially under pressure

Support includes EMR systems such as Cerner or Epic (depending on site), and varying levels of specialty backup (from robust to minimal, depending on hospital size and location).
