Locum Cardiology Opportunity in Michigan

We are seeking a General or Non-Invasive Cardiologist for locum coverage in Michigan. This role includes a mix of clinic and inpatient responsibilities with call coverage.
Assignment Overview
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with 1:2 call rotation (weeknights & weekends)
- Setting: Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding
- EMR: Epic with Dragon dictation
Responsibilities
- New and established patient visits
- Imaging and test interpretation
- Optional procedures depending on physician preference and experience, including:
- Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Cardioversions
- Loop implant/explant
- One APP on staff (currently on maternity leave starting October 2025)
- No supervisory duties
Requirements
- BC/BE in Cardiology (General/Invasive or Non-Invasive)
- ACLS and BLS Certifications
- Minimum of 50 cases in the last 12 months (including at least 25 TEEs if performing TEEs)
- Michigan license or IMLC accepted
