Coverage Needs: We are looking to fill the following ongoing coverage requirements:
- Monday - Thursday: 3 Anesthesiologists needed for 10-12 hour shifts (typically 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
- Fridays: 2 Anesthesiologists needed for 10-12 hour shifts (typically 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
Skills
Responsibilities:
- Pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation of patients.
- Administration and management of anesthesia during surgical, obstetric, and other medical procedures.
- Monitoring of patients' physiological status during and after anesthesia.
- Post-anesthetic care and management of complications.
- Consultation with surgeons and other medical professionals.
- Maintenance of accurate and complete medical records.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD/DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Active, unrestricted Medical License in New Jersey (or ability to obtain).
- DEA registration.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Excellent clinical skills and commitment to patient safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
