We are seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team on a high-priority, part-time locum basis in Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive rates, and the chance to work with a strong anesthesia team in a thriving regional medical center.
Position Highlights
- Need someone to cover weekdays, night call, and 24 hour beeper call on weekends.
- Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM (flexible to 8-hour shifts if preferred)
- Pager call 5 PM - 7 AM for pediatrics only, with 24-hour weekend call available
- 15 per month
- 30-minute response time. Pager call is pediatrics only
Scope of Practice
- ~75% Pediatric / 25% Adult
- Pediatric cases include NICU babies (no hearts), orthopedic (no spine), ENT, general surgery, GI, dental, and MRI sedations.
- Adult general anesthesia cases.
- Solo cases for both pediatric and adult patients, plus medical direction of CRNAs.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certification: Pediatric Anesthesiology
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC accepted)
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, DEA
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Must be willing to provide anesthesia for both infants/children and adults to accommodate daily scheduling needs.
