Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Community Hospital Setting in SW Chicago

Join a collegial, well-supported anesthesiology team at a community hospital with a stable schedule and consistent case mix
We are currently seeking a full-time anesthesiologist to join our expanding department.

Current Team Structure:

Required Experience:

New graduates welcome – ideal for early-career physicians eager to learn and grow
Must have completed standard anesthesiology residency training

Schedule & Call:

Typical week: 3–4 weekday shifts (Monday–Friday), 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call shifts:
One 12:00 PM – 7:00 AM in-house call per week, followed by a post-call day off
One weekend call required monthly
Three 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM backup calls per month (approximately 25% chance of being called in, with most cases completed by 10:00 PM)

Case Types:

Broad range of community hospital cases, including:
Orthopedic, general, abdominal, GI, GU, gynecological, ENT, OB/Labor & Delivery, podiatry
Pediatric cases (ages 5+) including tonsillectomies, appendectomies, and ortho
No neurosurgery, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, transplant, or trauma cases
