Overview:
- Location: North Carolina
- Duration: March – June (open dates available)
- Schedule: 1-4 weeks per month, 7 AM – 3 PM shifts, with rotating call
Call Details:
- Weeknights: 2nd call, approximately 1 in 5 nights, off-site (7 PM – 7 AM)
- Weekends: Friday 7 PM through Monday 7 AM, approximately 2 callbacks on average
- CRNAs provide 2nd call backup as needed
Scope of Practice:
- General anesthesia, including adult general, OB, ortho, and vascular cases (no head, spine, or thoracic).
- Experience with blocks is a strong plus.
Hospital Details:
- Patient volume: Approximately 20 cases per day across 3-4 ORs (5 ORs total, plus OB)
- EMR: EPIC
- Support team: 3 MDs and 3 CRNAs
